Auchi Polytechnic, Edo State, has once again demonstrated its academic excellence and national relevance as one of its outstanding graduates, Miss Ruth Oshiogbhele Victoria, from the Department of Food Technology, emerged the Best Graduating Student in Food Science and Technology across all tertiary institutions in Nigeria.
Miss Oshiogbhele, who graduated in the 2023/2024 Academic Session with an impressive Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.00, received multiple awards, prizes, and an automatic employment offer in recognition of her exceptional performance.
The award presentation took place during the International Conference of the Nigerian Institute of Food Science and Technology (NIFST) held in Ilorin, Kwara State, where top professionals, scholars, and industry leaders gathered to celebrate excellence and innovation in the field of Food Science and Technology.
The Rector of Auchi Polytechnic, Dr. Salisu Shehu Umar, FIMC, MNSA, MNSS, on behalf of the Management, Staff, and Students, expressed immense pride in Miss Oshiogbhele’s achievement, describing it as a testament to the institution’s commitment to producing graduates who can compete globally.
