Information for the Polytechnic community
Auchi Polytechnic is intimately monitoring the ongoing Corona-virus (COVID-19) pandemic. We are following advice from the Government and Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC). Likewise, management is committed to adopting new ways of teaching & learning, campus experiences and activities that is designed to ensure the good health and safety of staff and students of its community.
Safety on campus
Attendance on campus is strictly permitted if staff, students and visitors adhere to the following procedures listed below.
1. Mask Up
FACE MASK must be worn inside the polytechnic at all times. Exceptions may apply to those with personal health necessities.
2. Follow Hygiene Procedures
Make sure you wash your hands regularly with soap and water for 20 seconds, there are hand washing sinks at designated areas around the campus.
Also, remember to use your hand sanitizers after contact with surfaces.
3. Maintain Social Distancing
Please maintain social distancing at all times on our campuses. We are complying with government guidelines of maintaining a two-meter distance from people.
5. Isolation and Reporting Advice
If you feel sick or you are displaying some signs of COVID-19 symptoms, please, you 
must self-isolate; this means staying at home. Hence, if you start to feel ill or develop more symptoms please notify the polytechnic health centers.
